Tehmina Yakoob
Tehmina Yakoob is the Principal of Black Stone Solicitors and qualified in 2000, she founded the firm in 2007. Prior to Black Stone she worked for well-established niche property firms. Tehmina is an experienced practitioner and specialises in both residential and commercial property transactions.
She specialises in acting for high net worth individuals in acquiring residential and commercial properties. She primarily acts for property investment companies, start-up businesses and commercial landlords and tenants. Sangita Gohil
Having qualified as a Solicitor in 2000, Sangita joined Black Stone in 2011 as a senior assistant Solicitor dealing with both residential and commercial property matters.

Nasir Iqbal
Nasir Iqbal joined Black Stone in 2009 and was admitted as a solicitor in 2010. He specialises in all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing. Nasir regularly acts as a panel solicitor for several high street banks in residential property matters.
He has experience of dealing with all types of residential property work including purchases, lease extensions, Help to Buy, shared ownership and Equity Transfer. Nasir also deals with commercial clients acting for them in commercial lease and landlord and tenant matters.

He has over 7 years’ experience in asylum, immigration, judicial review, applications under EU law, deportation and removal applications. Fraz Hussain
Fraz joined Black Stone Solicitors in 2015. He completed his period of recognised training at the firm and qualified as a solicitor in 2018.
He has extensive experience in a wide range of commercial property transactions including the preparation and negotiation of commercial leases, licences, renewals and variations, as well as the conveyancing of both freehold and leasehold commercial properties.

Jahid Khan
Jahid joined Black Stone Solicitors in 2018 and was admitted as a solicitor in 2022 having completed his training at the firm.
